This data makes clear the importance of increasing the recycling bin, and that too is cause for great concern: only the recycling of 17.4% of this waste, in some regions, such as America recovers just 2.7%. If this trend continues, the united nations has estimated that it could reach up to 120 million tons of electronic waste by 2050.

E-waste is growing five times faster than that of the recycle bin is documented from the junk e-mail: united nations.

According to The Global E-waste Monitor-2024, produced by the United Nations and partners have generated over 62 million tons of electronic waste in the year 2022, a number that grows up to five times faster than that of the recycle bin is documented. The disparity evidenced in the loss of valuable resources, and the deterioration of the environmental and social impacts, particularly in developing countries, where the disposal of informal learning is often the case.
